The Observation Deck starts from about RM 30 for Malaysians and RM 80 for foreigners. 

The Sky Terrace is even higher up and starts from RM 50 for Malaysians and RM 150 for foreigners. You will have to pay an additional fee to access the Sky Box.

You can also combine (Observation + Sky Terrace) tickets. These are RM 55 for Malaysians and RM 180 for foreigners.

All prices are lower for children.

Late afternoon is gold: you catch daylight, sunset, and then the city lights. We arrived around 5 pm and stayed until after dark. 

Crowds get heavier after sunset, so earlier is safer. 

During daytime (clear skies), you get more visibility but harsher light for photos.

  • It can be windy on the Sky Terrace.
  • On cloudy or rainy days, visibility drops.
  • Queues: arrive early or buy tickets online to skip lines.

We went just as the sun was dipping behind the skyline.

It’s more of a mid-level cityscape than a rooftop panorama, which actually makes it feel more grounded and comfortable.

It’s inside the Traders Hotel, which connects directly to Suria KLCC and the park area. 

Super convenient if you’ve been exploring around KLCC. You can just walk over and take the lift up.

No entry fee here. Just order your drinks or food. Prices are fairly reasonable for a hotel bar, and they serve a mix of cocktails, beers, and small bites.

  • Some seating areas have slightly obstructed views, depending on where you sit.
  • The bar can get packed on weekends. 

Still, it’s relaxed, comfortable, and a solid pick when you want city views without the fuss of dress codes or minimum spends.

5. Park Hyatt, 75th Floor (Merdeka 118)

This one’s the new star of KL’s skyline. The Park Hyatt at Merdeka 118 sits on the 75th floor. 

From Park Hyatt, you get a dramatic new angle that easily counts as one of the best views in KL, which can turn your night into a special one.

But the building goes up to 118 floors, making it the second-tallest building in the world. So, just walking in here already feels like a big deal.
