What is TREVO?

Malaysia's peer-to-peer car sharing platform connecting car owners (hosts) with renters (guests). Whether you need a car for a day, a week, or a month, TREVO makes it easy to find the perfect ride from real people in your community.

How old do I need to be?

19 years old and you must hold a valid Competent Driving License (CDL). At the moment, Probationary Driving Licences (PDL) are not accepted.

What documents do I need?

For Malaysian and ASEAN citizens: A valid driving license, Malaysian Identification Card (MyKad) or Passport.

For International registrations: A valid driving license from your home country, Passport, International Driving Permit (IDP).

Please ensure all submitted documents are valid, clear, and not expired. Verification may take up to 24 hours.

Booking & Pricing

How much does it cost to rent a car?

From RM70/day, depending on your chosen car, location, and rental length. Enjoy 10% weekly discounts and 20% monthly discounts.

Is there a mileage limit?

200km/day is included with every booking. Need more? Add extra mileage when creating your booking. Excess mileage is charged RM1/km.

Can I cancel a booking?

Cancel anytime up to 24 hours before your trip for free. Within 24 hours, a charge worth up to one day's booking fee will apply.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. Optional add-ons are clearly priced in the app, so you'll always know the total before confirming. No hidden fees, just simple and transparent options.

Insurance & Safety

What is SCDW?

Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) is a protection plan that limits your financial liability if the car is accidentally damaged during your trip. It caps how much you'd pay out of pocket for repairs.

Is insurance included?

Yes! Every TREVO booking includes TREVO Shield insurance coverage through our P2P insurance partners Allianz and Etiqa.

Pickup & Return

How does pickup work?

Follow the in-app instructions to locate your car. Take photos of the car from all angles before starting your trip. The car key is typically in a lockbox — the access code will be provided in the app.

What happens if I return the car late?

Late returns incur additional charges. Please extend your booking in the app if you need more time to avoid penalties.
