Together with our premium insurer, Allianz, we have launched an insurance policy that safeguards the car(s) you host even more with our innovative insurance coverages.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>In the rare event where your Guests unintentionally cause injuries and damages to another person and their car while driving your car, TREVO Shield will cover your car against self damage, and fire &amp; theft. Which TREVO Shield Plan suits me best?<\/h2><p>Please keep in mind that the Plans which offer a higher earning (% of Trip Rate) are conditioned with higher liability each time you make an Insurance Claim, and less EXTRA Safe features.<\/p><p><strong>Choose a Plan with the ideal Earning to Coverage Ratio<\/strong> <br \/>If you opt for Shield 60 or Shield 65, you will earn 60% or 65% of the Trip Rate respectively, Having said that, these Plans offer EXTRA Safety features, for instance for Shield 65, you\u2019ll receive EXTRA coverage for <strong>exterior dents \/ damage<\/strong> and a lower Surplus Charge of RM400.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Meanwhile, Shield 60 enables you to earn 60% of the Trip Rate. It provides you with EXTRA Safety features that are unavailable in other Plans such as <strong>No Claim Discount (NCD) Relief<\/strong> and <strong>ZERO Surplus Charge Excess.<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p>Every TREVO Shield Plan comes with a different set of features. What happens if my car is involved in an accident and my car is insured through TREVO Shield?<\/h2><p dir=\"ltr\">Hosts (excluding Commercial Hosts) will be contractually protected against physical damages (collision and other comprehensive causes), fire &amp; theft, up to the insured value of the Vehicle. Establish contact with TREVO Customer Service at known point of Incident happening.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">\u00a0<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">TREVO shall be responsible for handling the insurance claims process on behalf of Hosts, with reasonable assistance provided by the Hosts and subject to the Hosts\u2019 compliance to TREVO and Insurance terms and conditions.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">\u00a0<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">For post-Trip damages and incidentals, TREVO will assist\/work closely with You, Insurer\u2019s panel inspectors, and the police to carry out the necessary investigations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-e2d68c4 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"e2d68c4\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-3d78b48\" data-id=\"3d78b48\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-52061d1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"52061d1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>6. In the event of an accident, how should I proceed with my TREVO Shield claim?<\/h2><p>For all claims, Hosts are required to submit a report (Booking Issue Report) via the TREVO app.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><b>For MINOR damages, <\/b>we may at our discretion directly reimburse Hosts for damages:<\/p><ul><li>caused by the Guests during a Trip<\/li><li>for which repairs cost is less than the claim threshold of RM1,500 as set out in Annex 2 of our Terms of Service<\/li><li>in the sole opinion of TREVO, does not constitute normal wear and tear on the Vehicle.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><b>For MAJOR damages:<\/b><\/p><p>For any major incidents that require immediate attention, Hosts may reach out to TREVO Customer Service via Livechat on TREVO app.<\/p><p>For post-Trip major damages and incidentals, TREVO will assist\/work closely with Allianz\u2019s panel inspectors and police to carry out the necessary investigations. In the event the cost of any damage to the Vehicle (as ascertained by the P2P Insurer\u2019s panel workshop) is more than RM1,499, you agree to make a claim from the P2P Insurer to rectify\/repair such damage or bears the cost of repair yourself.<\/p><p>In the event of a loss or damage arising from a Trip for which you are entitled to make claims under TREVO Shield, such claims are approved by Allianz. You shall pay a Surplus Charge (according to the Shield Plan) to TREVO and Allianz shall, at their option, pay you:<\/p><ul><li>the reasonable or actual expenses incurred in repairing the Vehicle; or<\/li><li>the fair market value of your Vehicle, or the sum insured in the applicable policy, whichever is lower,<br \/>determined by your insurer at its sole discretion.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-4eff09d elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"4eff09d\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-73fcf7b\" data-id=\"73fcf7b\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fc47f1b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fc47f1b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 dir=\"ltr\">7. margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt; padding: 0pt 0pt 0pt 18pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Rubik, sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">a) <\/span> The paint and body of your car (excluding tyres, side mirrors, windscreen, windows, antenna, and any accessories)<\/strong><\/p><p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.38; margin-left: 72pt; text-indent: -36pt; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt; padding: 0pt 0pt 0pt 36pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Rubik,sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; margin-bottom: 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Rubik,sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">Scratches or dents to bumpers and attached components, provided the scratches are cosmetic in nature and do not compromise the safety and function of the vehicle.<\/span><\/p><p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.38;
